Crossed knee is one of the types of angular knee deformities. In which the two inner condyles of the thigh come closer together and the inner ankles of the foot move apart, creating a cross-like appearance in the legs.
Causes of the deformity:
1- This type of deformity is more common in children who walk earlier than usual. In children over 2 years old, it is often accompanied by flat feet and is easily treated by the age of 6.
2- Various injuries that cause the growth plate to disappear and close.
3- Internal infections
4- Metabolic and nutritional diseases such as rickets, which is the most common cause of knee deformity in underdeveloped countries.
5- Ligament injuries and injuries

Symptoms and complications:

1- Pain

2- Erosive changes (arthritis)

3- Impaired gait and movement

4- Increased knee vulnerability

Therapeutic movements:

1- Walking on the outer edge of the feet

2- Stretching movements for the muscles and tendons of the outer leg

3- Strengthening the muscles inside the legs with resistance force

4- Deciding to sit cross-legged

5- Avoiding sitting with both knees
